MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
When used as a zone expander, the 4208SNF may be placed
inside the control panel cabinet or mounted remotely. When
used as a Class B to Class A zone converter, the 4208SNF
must be placed inside the control panel cabinet.
EXPANDER SENSOR LOOP RESPONSE
• Slow: 400msec (all loops)
• Fast: 10msec (options for loops A and B)
EXPANDER SENSOR LOOP CURRENT
• 0.52mA (normal)
• 1.3mA_ (shorted)
Note: Addressable loop input = 11VDC, no external power
input required
SENSOR LOOP MAX. RESISTANCE
• Loops A - F (Class 8); Up to 300 ohms of wire resistance +
10k EOLR
• Loops G, H (Class A); Up to 150 ohms of wire resistance
on each side
