This section lists the wired keypads that may be used and provides
instructions for wiring and mounting the keypads.
A preliminary check-out procedure is also provided to ensure that the -
connected keypads are fi.mctioningproperly in the system.
Keypads That May Be Used
Q Fixed-Word Display: 4137AD, 4127,6127,6128,6137
Alpha Display 5137AD, 6138,6139
Up to 4 keypads in each partition (total of 8 in the system), independent of
auxiliary power considerations (you may need to use an auxiliary power
supply if the 600mA auxiliary output is exceeded)
WIMg To The Keypads
1. Determine wire gauge by referring to the wiring length/gauge chart
below. Wire lengths/gauge for Partition 2 keypads should be determined
separately from those keypads connected to Partition 1.
2. Run field wiring from the control to the keypads (using standard 4-
conductor twisted wire cable using the wire gauge determined in step 1).
